This is the deadliest disease in earth at present. There is no medicine for this disease. African countries were the origin for this disease. As no medicine is available for this disease, prevention is the first step against it. This is caused by HIV virus. This disease is transferred from the AIDS patient through sexual intercourse, blood transmission and by other blood exchange processes. Some of the steps to keep your-self away from this deadliest disease are, have sex only with a single constant person, use condoms while having sex, check the blood for HIV positive before the use. Also children must be given the awareness about this disease in schools. Various awareness programs must be given in the media to make people aware of this disease. WHO has announced December 1st as world AIDS day. India stands second in the number of HIV affected people. This shows the unawareness with the people. It’s the responsibility of each and every government of respective nations to protect their citizens. Many researches are being carried out for discovering the vaccine for this disease. We know a proverb that “PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE”. So, let us follow those preventive steps than to run for the vaccine.
