NOISE POLLUTION

Noise pollution is nothing but the unwanted noise present in the atmosphere. The sources of noise pollution are broadly classified in to two types. They are the industrial and the man-made noises. This pollution damages the ear drums and reduces the hearing capacity. This noise pollution affects the aged people, children and patients. Some of the preventive measures taken by the government to reduce the noise pollution are pointed below. No industries should be established in the densely populated areas and also near hospitals and educational institutions. Also the government has banned the cracking of crackers between 10p.m to 6a.m. and anyone who violates this rule will be strictly punished. The crackers of very high cracking sound are ordered not to be sold during the DIWALI festival. This really benefits the aged people. We the citizen of India should follow these rules and regulations. Being an Indian citizen I also request the politicians not to conduct the public meetings in the populated areas. This affects the public and leads to leads to noise pollution. The workers of the industries must be provided the ear muffles, so that they are protected from the noise pollution. Use sound absorbing materials to reduce the echo, which is also a type of noise pollution.
